We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to oversee the delivery of mechanical services on a high profile commercial construction project. This role requires strong technical knowledge, leadership skills, and the ability to manage complex project timelines, budgets, and teams from inception through to completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all mechanical aspects of the project, including HVAC, plumbing, and associated systems
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams
- Ensure project delivery aligns with specifications, budget, and deadlines
- Oversee procurement, scheduling, and resource allocation
- Monitor project progress and provide regular reports to stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and industry standards
- Identify risks and implement effective mitigation strategies
- Lead site meetings and maintain strong communication across all parties
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Manager in commercial construction
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems (HVAC, public health, BMS, etc.)
- Excellent project management and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deadlines
- Strong financial and commercial awareness
- Relevant qualifications in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services
- SMSTS / CSCS (or equivalent)
