I’m working with a leading infrastructure delivery partner supporting a major UK water utility as they enter a significant investment programme (AMP8). They are looking for a Technical Project Manager to help unlock a backlog of schemes currently sitting between design and delivery. We are specifically looking for applicants that have worked previously in infrastructure or construction.
This is not a typical process-driven project management role. You will sit at the centre of multiple schemes, acting as the bridge between engineering design teams, consultants, and delivery partners, ensuring projects move forward with clarity, pace, and technical confidence. You will not be producing detailed designs yourself, but you must be technically credible enough to challenge them. If you have experience reviewing engineering outputs and questioning whether something is right or feasible, this is the type of mindset required.
What you will be doing:
- Coordinating multiple infrastructure schemes through design into delivery
- Acting as the key interface between consultants, engineers, and delivery teams
