JOULE is seeking a skilled electrical technician for an industrial manufacturing client in Bath, PA.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial electrical and electronic equipment
  • Install, calibrate, and modify electrical components, instrumentation, and controls
  • Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, electrical schematics, and work orders
  • Install power and control wiring, conduit, and cable tray systems
  • Perform preventative maintenance on generators, traction motors, and related equipment
  • Inspect, service, and repair electric motors, including bearing replacement and lubrication
  • Complete required maintenance documentation and work orders
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment while following all company safety procedures

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on industrial electrical maintenance experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent (trade school or technical training)
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints
  • Experience troubleshooting industrial electrical systems
  • Ability to successfully pass the Electronic Technician A assessment (multiple choice exam with electrical diagram interpretation)
  • Experience with industrial electric motors (installation and troubleshooting), PID controllers, 480V power distribution, and 4160V switchgear is highly desired
  • Experience in heavy industrial manufacturing environments
  • Work comfortably around dust, noise, heat, and varying environmental conditions
  • Ability to climb ladders, stairs, and elevated walkways and work at heights
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in confined spaces
  • Wearing required PPE, including respirators and safety equipment
  • PLC troubleshooting experience is a strong plus but not required
