Role
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPMs)
- Attend reactive maintenance across commercial office buildings
- Electrical fault finding, repairs and testing
- General building fabric maintenance alongside electrical duties
- Ensure compliance with health & safety procedures
- Complete maintenance reports using handheld technology
Travel is kept sensible, with engineers travelling up to approximately 1.5 hours to site where required.
What We're Looking For
- Fully qualified Electrician (Level 3 or equivalent)
- 18th Edition
- Experience within commercial building maintenance or facilities management
- Comfortable carrying out both electrical and fabric maintenance
- Full UK Driving Licence
Salary & Benefits
- £45,000 - £50,000 basic salary
- 40-hour working week
- Company van (trade-specific)
- Uniform provided
- Guaranteed overtime available if wanted
- Saturday overtime paid at Time & a Half for the first 2 hours, then Double Time
- Sunday overtime paid at Double Time
- On-call rota: 1 in 8
- Travel deduction of 30 minutes each way
- 29 days holiday (including Bank Holidays)
- Additional 1 day's holiday after 2 years' service, with a further 0.5 day accrued annually thereafter
- Standard Life pension after 3 months
- 3% employer contribution
- 5% employee contribution
