We are currently looking to recruit an enthusiastic and reliable Junior Commercial Manager to join us on a permanent, full-time basis within our Sales & Distribution division at our Banbury site. As a Junior Commercial Manager, your duties will include:
- Negotiating with suppliers to deliver the most competitive pricing and profit levels
- Using a category management approach to provide customers with tailored product ranges and promotions
- Growing business with existing suppliers and identifying new opportunities aligned to profit targets
- Recovering costs associated with residuals, overstocks, and out-of-date stock
- Representing DCS Group at meetings, events, and seminars while building strong relationships with customers and suppliers
What we are looking for in our ideal Junior Commercial Manager:
- Ability to prioritise and make effective commercial decisions in time-sensitive situations
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with confidence engaging stakeholders at all levels
- Good commercial awareness with the ability to negotiate and influence outcomes
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- A team-focused, self-motivated individual who is adaptable to change
