Responsibilities
- As an Estimator, prepare accurate estimates, tenders and cost plans across commercial and retail projects, including strip-out, refurbishment and fit-out schemes.
- Measure quantities from drawings, analyse subcontractor and supplier quotations, prepare pricing submissions and liaise with clients and supply chain partners throughout tender stages.
- Conduct site visits, identify value-engineering opportunities, support tender handovers and assist with cost reviews, variations and budget monitoring.
Requirements
- Previous estimating experience within construction, ideally with exposure to commercial, retail, refurbishment or fit-out sectors.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills, confidence reading drawings and specifications, and ability to manage multiple tenders to deadlines.
- Proactive, ambitious, strong communicator and comfortable using Excel and estimating software.
- Full UK driving licence.
