Overview

A maintenance engineer to join a global manufacturing company based near Stourport. The client is a multi-UK firm supplying to stores across the UK and Europe. The maintenance engineer will join their double day shift and will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of all production equipment, keeping downtime to a minimum. You will be part of a large maintenance team with a great culture, stability, training and development opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Maintenance and repair of all production equipment to minimise downtime.
  • Double days (6-2 / 2-10).
  • Ensure all machines are running at all times.
  • Diagnose and repair machine faults.
  • Respond to breakdowns.
  • Carry out TPM and PPM work.
  • Open communication with shift leaders.
  • Reduce downtime and increase efficiency.

Requirements

  • Recognised electrical qualifications.
  • PLC fault finding (Advantageous).
  • Hydraulics and Pneumatics experience.
  • Ability to read circuit diagrams.
  • Experience with conveyors.
  • Single and Three phase power supplies.
  • AC and DC Drives.
