This is an opportunity for a senior architect or associate to bring their expertise in realising timeless homes for private clients to a reputable firm with amazing benefits.

In this role you will be reporting to an associate director and managing a small team of juniors on several high‑end private home refurbishments concurrently at different stages, maintaining oversight on quality, programme and budget. Understanding and defining briefs, gaining successful often contentious planning and liaising with consultants and contractors on technical information, this is a true client facing and coordination role and you will ensure that deliverables are of a high standard of quality and compliance. You will be on site supervising works and solving issues, managing contractor relationships administering contracts.

Candidate

  • Senior Architect, ARB Registered
  • Significant experience designing and delivering bespoke homes involving refurbishment, extensions and new basements, often in listed contexts
  • Experience of managing multiple projects at different stages concurrently
  • Knowledge of RBKC planning regulations and UK construction methods
  • Portfolio demonstrating good design principles, appreciation of high-quality bespoke finishes and rich material palettes
  • Confident coordinating with contractors and sub contractors, monitoring site works and overcoming technical challenges whilst keeping a calm demeanour.
  • JCT contract administration experience
