NIMBUS® Advanced Process Cooling is the cooling systems and solutions research, development, and manufacturing division of EMSCO, Inc., an Inductotherm Group Company with a history of providing service to the induction melting industry for over 40 years. NIMBUS Advanced Process Cooling manufactures hybrid adiabatic cooling systems and Dry Cooling Systems in Anniston, Alabama.

GENERAL ASSEMBLY

This position will be responsible for following and maintaining our general assembly processes for our adiabatic cooling units. This includes:

  • Use of all standard shop tools
  • Overhead cranes
  • Forklifts
  • Operating hydraulic assembly tables
  • Following standardized assembly procedures
  • Wiring motors to be installed onto the final assembly
  • Brazing spray nozzles and copper tubing into place
  • Sheet metal assembly with standard fasteners
  • Handling of certification documents to verify assembly testing
  • Performing functional testing of units

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Follow standard assembly procedures
  • Competent use of standard shop tools
  • Maintain clean workspace
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. (occasionally)
  • Valid driver's license

SKILLS

  • Ability to read blueprints
