We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and talented Architect to join my client’s dynamic and collaborative team. This is an exciting opportunity for an organised, detail-oriented individual with a strong creative drive and a passion for high-quality design. The successful candidate will play a key role within project teams, contributing across all stages of the design process and helping to deliver innovative and well-resolved architectural solutions. You will be confident developing design proposals, producing detailed drawing packages, coordinating with consultants, and maintaining design integrity throughout.

Key Responsibilities and Experience

  • Proven experience working on complex medium to large-scale projects
  • Demonstrated excellence in both design and technical delivery
  • Strong experience contributing across all RIBA work stages
  • Ability to interpret design direction and deliver to the highest standards
  • Confident presenting ideas internally and to consultants
  • Excellent technical knowledge, including UK Building Regulations, construction materials, and detailing
  • Experience contributing to and reviewing detailed specifications
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage workload effectively
  • Excellent verbal, written, and sketch communication skills
  • Confident working collaboratively within consultant teams

Requirements

  • Qualified Architect with a minimum of 4 years’ post-qualification experience
  • Strong experience across all RIBA stages
  • Essential background in residential design and delivery
  • Proficient in Revit with hands-on project experience
  • Competent in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign)
  • Excellent written and spoken English

My client is an award-winning architectural practice based in Clerkenwell, at the heart of London’s design district. The studio works across a diverse range of sectors including workplace, residential, commercial, hospitality, heritage, interiors, and community-focused projects, both across the UK and internationally. This is a full-time position, offering a salary in the range of £40,000–£55,000, depending on experience. Applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK at the time of application, as visa sponsorship is not available.
