Morson Edge is currently seeking an experienced Aircraft Maintenance Mechanic to join a specialist team supporting the F‑35 aircraft programme at RAF Marham. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a state‑of‑the‑art department, supporting one of the most advanced aircraft platforms. As one of the exclusive UK operating bases for the F‑35 Lightning, RAF Marham offers a unique environment at the forefront of modern defence aviation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out aircraft maintenance activities in accordance with Approved Technical Information, risk assessments, and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure all maintenance activities are correctly documented and that airworthiness records are accurately maintained.
  • Identify, report, and elevate technical issues or discrepancies where appropriate.
  • Comply with the organisation's Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE), procedures, and operational standards.
  • Apply Human Factors and Error Management principles as part of the Safety Management System.
  • Support Continuing Airworthiness Assurance by ensuring all work meets the requirements of the Continuing Airworthiness Management System.
  • Undertake a variety of aircraft maintenance tasks including aircraft role changes, component removal and installation, inspections, repairs, modifications, fault rectification, component replacement and functional or system testing.

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience working within and applying EASA/MRP Part 145 regulations.
  • Experience supporting complex military aircraft programmes.
  • Completion of an Engineering Apprenticeship, ideally in Aeronautical Engineering, or equivalent military training.
  • Minimum academic qualification of City & Guilds 2675 or 2661 in Aeronautical Engineering and Maintenance, or equivalent.

The Team

You will be part of the F‑35 Aircraft Maintenance Team, working within a team of approximately 12 maintainers in a diverse, fast‑paced operational environment. The team undertakes a wide range of aircraft and component maintenance activities, operating in line with approved technical documentation and the organisation's MOE. This role offers the chance to develop your expertise on cutting‑edge technology while contributing to the operational readiness of a globally significant aircraft programme.
