You will act as a key technical link across multiple projects, supporting complex HVAC installations, improving internal processes, and ensuring smooth delivery from design through to commissioning.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Support
- Provide remote diagnostics and technical support to field engineers.
- Troubleshoot complex HVAC system faults across VRV/VRF, multi‑split, and ventilation systems.
- Act as the central technical point of contact for project teams.
- Design & Quotation Support
- Produce basic HVAC system designs and support more complex project designs.
- Carry out heat loss and related technical calculations.
- Liaise with manufacturers to confirm technical specifications and system suitability.
- Procurement & Logistics
- Order HVAC equipment, components, and materials.
- Manage supplier relationships, lead times, and warranty claims.
- Coordinate timely delivery of materials to site to support project schedules.
- Compliance & Documentation
- Lead F‑Gas compliance activities, including logbooks, inspections, and audits.
- Produce RAMS (Risk Assessments and Method Statements).
- Maintain O&M manuals, commissioning documentation, and CAD drawings.
- Customer & Project Coordination
- Support clients from initial enquiry through to project completion.
- Maintain strong, professional client relationships.
- Conduct site surveys and provide on‑site technical support when required.
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience within the HVAC industry (air conditioning and ventilation systems essential).
- Strong diagnostic, fault‑finding, and problem‑solving abilities.
- Experience with VRV/VRF, multi‑split, and ventilation systems.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
- Commercially aware with a strong customer service mindset.
Essential Requirements
- Relevant HVAC qualification (e.g. F‑Gas certification, NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and job management systems.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
