My client is a successful, family-owned HVAC contractor based in Worcestershire, delivering design and installation of HVAC services throughout the UK in Retail, Commercial and Leisure establishments. With over 30 years of trading history and strong financial turnover, the business continues to grow and is now creating an exciting opportunity for an Intermediate Mechanical Design Engineer to join the team. Due to sustained business growth, this role has been created. You will receive a comprehensive one-to-one introduction to the company, its systems and processes, ensuring you feel supported from day one. The business is deeply invested in its people, offering structured training and long-term development to aid progression.
Responsibilities:
- Mechanical design of HVAC systems for refurbishment projects
- Producing detailed calculations, drawings and technical documentation
- Supporting project delivery teams from concept through to completion
- Liaising with clients, contractors and suppliers
- Ensuring designs meet regulatory and industry standards
Ideal Profile:
- Experience within Mechanical Design across Building Services/HVAC
- Strong technical knowledge of heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems
- Proficiency in relevant design software
