We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrical Engineer to lead the design, development, and integration of electrical and automation systems.
You will be responsible for hardware selection, on‑site electrical requirements, and ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards.
This is a hands‑on, varied position with opportunities to contribute across design, development, commissioning, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Design electrical and automation systems, including incoming power, power distribution, HMIs, and control systems.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and implement safety interlocks and emergency shutdown systems.
- Create and maintain technical documentation such as schematics, control logic diagrams, and operating manuals.
- Train and support operators, maintenance teams, and junior engineers.
- Identify and deliver performance improvements, cost reductions, and system enhancements.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans.
- Troubleshoot system issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
- Specify and support the procurement of electrical components and assemblies.
- Provide technical input for RFQ reviews and system concept definition.
- Support project managers, production teams, and commissioning engineers.
- Work in accordance with industry standards (NEC, ISO, IEC).
- Apply strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail throughout all project stages.
Experience Required
- Degree or equivalent in Electrical or Automation Engineering.
- Proficiency with EPLAN and Auto CAD Electrical.
- Ideally Beckhoff automation technology experience.
- Project management capability.
