We are recruiting for an experienced Industrial / EC&I Electrician to join a well-established engineering business delivering projects across the UK. This is a permanent role offering strong earning potential, consistent project work, and long-term career development. You’ll be working on industrial sites nationwide, carrying out electrical installation and control panel wiring as part of EC&I projects. When not on site, you’ll be based from the Wolverhampton facility. Projects include regulated and high-profile environments such as nuclear and major infrastructure sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Electrical installation and field wiring on industrial sites
  • Install, maintain, repair and assist with commissioning electrical systems
  • Interpreting plans, assembling components, laying wires, fixing faults and conducting safety checks
  • Control panel wiring and modifications
  • Working from EC&I electrical drawings
  • Installation, testing, and commissioning support
  • Ensuring all work meets safety and quality standards
  • Working across UK industrial and regulated sites

Salary & Package

  • £35,000 – £50,000 (depending on experience)
  • Overtime available
  • Company hire car provided
  • All travel, accommodation, and meals covered

Working Hours

  • Monday to Friday
  • 07:00 – 17:00 (typical working day)
  • Overtime available as required

Ideal Candidate

  • Background as an Industrial Electrician with EC&I experience
  • Strong control panel wiring and installation skills
  • Comfortable working from electrical / EC&I drawings
  • Experience working on industrial or regulated sites
  • Willing to work away across the UK
  • Hold 18th edition

Essential Requirements

  • Experience in industrial electrical installation (EC&I exposure)
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Strong understanding of site safety standards
  • Ability to obtain Nuclear SC Clearance
  • Be a qualified electrician with a valid Level 3 qualification
