This is an excellent opportunity for a Design Engineer to join a highly skilled and collaborative design team where your work directly contributes to nationally recognised projects.
The Role
- Produce detailed technical and fabrication drawings for bespoke architectural metalwork packages.
- Interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and design intent into fully buildable solutions.
- Develop GA drawings, elevations, sections, and detailed component designs.
- Collaborate closely with engineers, project managers, fabrication teams, and clients.
- Ensure all outputs meet UK Building Regulations and industry standards.
- Support projects from concept stage through to manufacture and installation.
About You
- Experience working as a Design Engineer, CAD Technician, or Draughtsperson within architectural metalwork, façades, or a similar industry.
- Strong AutoCAD skills (essential); Revit experience is an advantage.
- Mindset with strong attention to detail and problem‑solving ability.
- Understanding of fabrication processes and manufacturing constraints.
- Ability to communicate effectively within multidisciplinary project teams.
- Commercial awareness and ability to deliver accurate, buildable design solutions.
