Primary Remit: Support the Directors in future-proofing the business by driving forward greater administrative controls and safeguarding cross-functional communications and co-ordination.

What We Need:

  • Market intelligence, data capture and analysis
  • Supplier relationship management
  • Strategic procurement
  • Supply and SLA negotiations
  • Supply and demand operational planning with built-in contingency measures
  • Regulatory compliance of transport and storage of hazardous materials
  • Upgrade standing with bulk suppliers to encourage favourable price points and enhance delivery schedules to aid onward supply chain operations

You Should Bring:

  • Knowledge of UK and overseas inbound and outbound bulk freight certifications relative to volatile substances
  • Evidence of initiating new process methodologies and continuous improvement implementation for the benefit of all departments
  • A calm and level-headed demeanour who can see and think clearly in the face of adversity and adapt when geo-political shocks occur
  • Proven ability to identify, monitor and adjust to trends as they begin to occur, rather than react after the event
