Next have been appointed to lead the recruitment for a HSEQ Manager to work with a precision engineering business who supply parts into multiple industries. As the HSEQ Manager you will be responsible for promoting a positive HSEQ culture across the client's manufacturing facility whilst implementing and monitoring business policies and risk assessments to ensure alignment with UK and EU legislation.
Responsibilities:
- Providing advice and support to teams to meet requirements of legislation, ISO standards and company processes & procedures
- Supporting implementation of HSE Policies to drive improvements and gain/maintain certification
- Promoting a proactive approach to HSE management including regular floor walks & contact with supervisors & managers to ensure issues are clearly understood and effectively managed
- Investigation of site issues, accidents, incidents including production of accident & incident reports and root cause analysis
- Facilitating the delivery of corrective and preventive actions for significant issues in conjunction with the relevant teams/managers
- Internal Auditing/Supplier auditing with reporting and follow up of findings
Qualifications:
- 3 – 5 years’ experience as a Health & Safety Manager (Essential)
- NEBOSH & or COSHH certified (Essential)
- 3 – 5 years’ experience working within a manufacturing/production environment (Essential)
- Absolute understanding of ISO14001 & 45001 (Essential)
