We are looking for an experienced Quality Engineer to support our Quality team in maintaining compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards whilst driving continuous improvement across the business.
This is a hands-on role where you will work closely with Production, Engineering and Quality teams to investigate quality concerns, support NPI activities, develop supplier quality performance and ensure the highest standards of product quality are achieved.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead investigations into quality issues using 8D and root cause analysis.
- Support compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and reduce non-conformances.
- Support APQP, PPAP, FMEA and other Automotive Core Tools activities.
- Assist with supplier quality management and audits.
- Maintain quality documentation and reporting systems.
- Support customer concerns, warranty reporting and corrective actions.
About You
- Degree, HNC or HND in Engineering, Manufacturing or Quality Engineering.
- Experience in Automotive, Aerospace or a similarly regulated manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems and Automotive Core Tools.
- Experience with inspection methods, MSA, CMMs and GD&T.
- Confident communicator with strong problem-solving skills.
- Audit-trained (IATF 16949 Lead Auditor desirable).
- Able to work independently and build effective relationships across the business.
