I’m working directly with a residential contractor looking to appoint a freelance Quantity Surveyor for a major residential development in Welwyn Garden City. This is an immediate requirement on a live £24m scheme. They already have a Commercial Manager in place and are looking for someone capable of coming in, getting up to speed quickly and taking ownership of the day-to-day commercial duties.
The Role
- Working on a £24m residential development comprising approximately 100 units across two residential blocks
- Reporting into the Commercial Manager
- Managing valuations, variations, subcontractor accounts and commercial reporting
- Identifying and maximising commercial opportunities across the project
- Supporting cost control and financial performance through to project completion
- Site-based role with close involvement in project delivery
- Immediate start available

- Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor level
- Residential new build experience
