T2M Resourcing have been appointed to recruit a Project Accountant for an ERP System implementation for a leading employer in the Southwest as part of their business transformation programme. As a Finance Subject Matter Expert, you’ll play a key role in shaping future Finance processes. Working as part of the business transformation team, you’ll provide expert insight to support the design and delivery of future-state Finance processes with the implementation of Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, as well as assessing change impacts across the Finance function and wider business to enable successful adoption.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Business Lead and Change Team in driving engagement across the finance function, acting as a change advocate to help embed new processes and ways of working.
  • Provide functional expertise and insight to support stakeholder decision-making, particularly in relation to finance processes, risks, and impacts of change.
  • Support the configuration of the solution, working with programme and technical teams to validate that system setup reflects agreed finance processes.
  • Contribute to the review and validation of business processes within your area of expertise, ensuring alignment with programme design and business requirements.
  • Support the delivery of key programme projects and milestones, ensuring finance-related activities are completed in line with the overall delivery plan.
  • Contribute to User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities, including supporting the development; review of UAT scenarios and scripts and coordinating and executing testing within the finance function.
  • Collaborate with programme teams to review and validate training materials, ensuring they are accurate, relevant, and reflect finance processes and system functionality.
  • Provide ongoing support to change and training teams, supplying detailed functional input to enable effective communications, training, and business readiness activities.

Qualifications

  • Strong Finance operations experience e.g., Record to Report, Purchase to Pay, Order to Cash, Controls.
  • ERP / Finance systems exposure, ideally with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (or similar ERP).
  • Basic to intermediate process mapping skills, with ability to document and review processes.
  • Experience working as part of a project team or supporting business change initiatives.
  • Positive and open approach to change, with clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to learn and apply new system/process knowledge, supporting activities such as UAT, process validation, and change impact assessments.

Additional Details

This exciting opportunity will attract a competitive salary (up to £55K subject to experience), Bonus, hybrid working with flexible working hours, plus many other market leading employee benefits.
