Established manufacturing organisation seeks an experienced Welder for immediate start. Permanent Contracts offered, varying shifts available, competitive rates of pay and progression opportunities provided.

As a Welder, you’ll be part of a busy, forward-thinking team supporting the Tooling and Production departments by performing MIG, TIG and ARC Welding. Prior experience in a high-precision manufacturing environment, ideally within the automotive or aerospace sectors is needed.

Welder duties:
  • Perform MIG, TIG and ARC welding to a high standard across various components
  • Working with dies and clip tools as part of the fabrication process
  • Carry out heat treatment procedures on dies to ensure durability and performance
  • Operate and oversee the robotic MIG welding system (bespoke equipment; full training provided)
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment in accordance with company health and safety policies
  • Inspect and verify welds for quality assurance and compliance with specifications
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production targets and deadlines
Skills/Experience required for the role of Welder:
  • Proven experience in MIG, TIG and ARC welding techniques
  • Familiarity with dies, clip tools and heat treatment processes
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and welding specifications
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
  • Willingness to learn and operate bespoke robotic welding equipment (training provided)

Location: Redditch, Worcestershire

Hours of Work: Various Shifts Available

Pay Rate: £15.00 - £18.00 per hour dependent upon experience

Contract: Permanent
