We're supporting a major UK infrastructure and defence programme and are looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join the delivery team supporting critical Building C and Southern Services packages within the 10 Dock programme. This is a long-term, fully remote opportunity focused on complex multidisciplinary M&E design within a highly regulated environment.

The Role

You'll support the Electrical Lead across concept, scheme, and detailed design development, contributing to the integration of major electrical infrastructure and associated building services systems. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting HV/LV distribution design and integration
  • Coordination of electrical containment and service interfaces
  • Input into Basis of Design documentation and designer risk assessments
  • Supporting FMECA activities and nuclear safety case engagement including HAZID/HAZOP and SFR support
  • Coordination with multidisciplinary design teams including architecture, structures, process and fire engineering
  • Supporting technical liaison, interface management, and early contractor involvement (ECI)
  • Ensuring designs remain compliant, coordinated, and deliverable

Project Scope

The role will primarily focus on Building C and Southern Services. Building C includes:

  • Receipt and Dispatch Building (RDB)
  • Marshalling area deck
  • Substation housing transformers and switchgear for 10 Dock

Southern Services includes:

  • HV ring main cable infrastructure
  • Pit and duct networks
  • Mechanical and electrical service routing interfaces into 10 Dock

What We're Looking For

  • Senior Electrical Engineer with strong building services background
  • Experience supporting RIBA design stages
  • Knowledge of HV/LV distribution and associated building systems
  • Experience working within complex or highly regulated projects
  • Strong coordination and stakeholder engagement capability
  • Nuclear, defence, infrastructure, or mission-critical experience advantageous
