Quantity Surveyor – Oxford area
We have an excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join an established main contractor. The business is privately owned, with regional offices and a group turnover in excess of £120m. They undertake projects across public and private sectors including education, healthcare, commercial and social housing, valuing up to £15m. Projects are typically administered via JCT forms of contract.
Responsibilities
- Be involved in 2-stage tenders
- Sub-contract procurement
- Manage sub-contractors accounts on site, dealing with variations
- Deal with final accounts
Qualifications
- Construction related HNC / Degree
- Experience working within a main contractor
- Experience administering JCT forms of contract
- Must live within a commutable distance to Oxford and have the full right to work in the UK
