The EV Installer will take responsibility for the electrical installation of our EV Charge Points, this position will support EV Installations being carried out across the Region. You will be a competent electrician who has a strong understanding of electrical systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Job requirements

  • Essential
    • SCE Certification
    • 1-3 years of Commercial/Industrial Experience
    • Full Driving License
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Desirable
    • Experience with 3DC chargers ranging from 50kW upwards of 400kW DC

Job responsibilities

  • Install electric vehicle charging stations.
  • Follow work instructions, electrical designs, cable calculations and installation guides to carry out the proper installation of EV chargers from various charger manufacturers.
  • Liaise with the Supervisor and provide updates relevant to the EV charge point installations on their projects.
  • Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure safe working conditions.
  • Work to site specific Programmes of Work.
  • Maintain accurate records of installations, maintenance, and repairs.
  • Prepare and submit reports on work performed, including any issues encountered and resolutions implemented.
  • Work closely with project managers, electricians, and other team members to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Participate in training sessions and team meetings to stay informed and share best practice.
