We are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrician to join a well-established business delivering maintenance and repair services across social housing properties throughout Leicestershire and Peterborough. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified electrician looking for long-term stability, competitive earnings, and the chance to work within a supportive and growing team.
The Role
You will be responsible for carrying out electrical maintenance, fault finding, repairs, and associated works within occupied and void social housing properties. The role requires a strong focus on quality workmanship, safety, and customer service. The position includes participation in an on-call rota, covering 1 week in every 6-8 weeks.
Essential Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation
- Completed AM2 Practical Assessment/Portfolio (theory qualification alone is not sufficient)
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification
- Full UK Driving Licence
- No driving bans or disqualifications within the last 5 years
- No more than 5 penalty points on licence
- Ability to pass a Basic DBS Check
- Previous experience in maintenance, repairs, or social housing environments is desirable
