Responsibilities:
- Assist the Gas Network/Service Engineer to install, replace and maintain underground pipework and associated equipment at customer’s premises and public highways.
- Work safely at all times wearing relevant PPE.
- Assist the Gas Network/Service Engineer with all aspects of the role.
- Domestic & Commercial site work including installations, replacement and maintenance of underground pipe work.
- Manual handling.
- Operating Pneumatic tooling in a safe manner.
- Use of breathing apparatus.
- Travel will be required as part of the role.
Requirements:
- Hold a full, valid UK driving licence.
- Must be eligible to work unrestricted in the UK.
- Experience in a similar role.
- Be flexible and willing to travel.
- Have strong customer service skills.
- Be an organised individual.
- Ideally hold a EUSR SHEA Gas safety qualification.
- Ideally hold a NRSWA certificate for operatives.
- Ideally hold a NPORS plant operators qualification.
