We\’re looking for a Trainee Estimator to join our friendly and supportive team in Burntwood. You’ll receive full training, work alongside experienced professionals, and build the foundations for a long-term career in the construction industry — no previous experience required.
My client designs, manufactures, and installs high-quality stainless steel and glass balustrades and handrails for some of the UK’s leading construction companies. Their projects span residential developments, schools and universities, healthcare facilities, leisure and hospitality venues, offices, and care homes.
Responsibilities
- Review drawings and specifications to prepare accurate quote
- Communicate with clients, suppliers, and contractors to gather information
- Support with pricing enquiries and cost breakdown
- Keep track of projects and documentation in our CRM system
- Coordinate with our Design, Contracts, and Production teams
- Build your understanding of materials, systems, and industry standards
Experience Required
- Positive and eager to learn
- Organised and detail-focused
- Confident communicating with different people
- Comfortable using Microsoft Excel, Word, and email
- Curious about how things are made and how projects come together
