Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their growing infrastructure team, supporting a major power and energy programme for one of their key clients. This is an excellent opportunity to work on high-profile projects within a collaborative and forward-thinking environment.

Role

As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in the commercial management and delivery of complex power and energy infrastructure projects. Working closely with project teams, clients, and supply chain partners, you will ensure robust commercial control throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing commercial activities across major power and energy projects
  • Administering and managing NEC contracts
  • Cost forecasting, reporting, and change management
  • Supporting procurement and subcontract management
  • Identifying and mitigating commercial risks
  • Building strong relationships with stakeholders and project teams
  • Ensuring projects are delivered in line with commercial objectives

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor within the power, utilities, or energy sector
  • Strong NEC contract experience is essential
  • Excellent commercial and contractual knowledge
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Degree qualified or equivalent in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline

Location

Hybrid working: 2–3 days per week on site in Tilbury.
