Location: Tilbury, Essex

Salary: £(phone number removed) per annum + Overtime & On‑call

Shifts: Monday - Friday, 08:00 - 16:30 (1-in-6 on-call rota)

The Role:

  • Working within a high‑energy production facility, you will focus on minimizing downtime and driving system improvements.
  • This is a site that prioritises Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and long‑term asset reliability over "firefighting."
  • Troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical and electrical faults.
  • Maintain automated systems, including PLCs, controls, and 3‑phase motors.
  • Support machine part replacements and conduct mandatory safety logs.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement projects and site upgrades.

The Candidate:

  • We are looking for a collaborative, forward‑thinking engineer with an "electrical bias" and a proactive attitude.
  • Experience: Several years within an FMCG or high‑speed food production environment.
  • Qualifications: Level 3 NVQ/HNC/HND in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in electrical fault finding, wiring, and industrial controls (18th Edition).
  • Mindset: Ambitious, enthusiastic, and a dedicated team player.
