Process Engineer – Oxfordshire
Process Engineer role with a well‑established advanced manufacturing business in Oxfordshire. Plays a key role in supporting production, improving manufacturing processes and contributing to operational excellence in a technically driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support production activities and drive manufacturing process improvements.
- Work cross‑functionally with Production, Quality and Engineering teams.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and projects.
- Operate and maintain capital equipment, industrial machinery, CNC and PLC systems.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety and COSHH regulations, including risk assessments and associated documentation.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders across functions in a fast‑paced manufacturing facility.
- Lead and run own projects with seniority and scope for progression.
Qualifications
- Degree educated Engineer (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, Electrical, Electro‑Mechanical) or equivalent experience in an advanced engineering or manufacturing environment.
- Experience in lean manufacturing, continuous improvement or production environments.
- Background in working with capital equipment, industrial machinery, CNC, PLC, controls or electrical knowledge (useful but not essential).
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a dynamic SME environment.
- Willingness to progress and drive continuous improvement.
- Ability to commute to facilities near Aylesbury, Thame or Oxford.
