We are a mechanical services engineering company who specialise in all aspects of the design and installation of Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, and Water services of buildings nationwide in the retail, leisure, healthcare, and commercial sectors. Due to our thriving reputation within the industry, we have secured projects and opportunities that allow for a programme of sustained growth to be implemented, and we are looking to add enthusiastic HVAC Services Design Engineers to our expanding team. We pride ourselves on our ability to deliver first-class service to our clients in a proactive manner, regardless of the challenges presented. The successful candidate will have a passion for engineering and problem-solving and will be excited about the prospect of working in a role that provides excellent opportunities for growth and experience, including both office work and site visits.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for all aspects of the design of mechanical services systems including ductwork, pipework and drainage sizing and layouts, plant and terminal selection, plantroom design, maintenance access and requirements all within the dictates of the relevant specifications, codes of practices and statutory regulations.
  • Preparation of fully coordinated designs from initial feasibility or specification stage through to construction phase ensuring compliance with industry standards and building regulations.
  • Use of Autocad 2D and Revit 3D.
  • Use of Hevacomp thermal modelling software.
  • Responsible through presentation, behaviour and professionalism for the continuing growth of the Company’s reputation and Client base.
  • Responsible for the upkeep, maintenance and growth of the company design standards.
  • Engagement with external stakeholders to assist with the delivery of the design throughout the pre-construction phase.

Requirements:

  • Technical knowledge of HVAC engineering processes is vital.
  • Qualified to HND level or higher.
  • Computer literate and able to use Microsoft Office applications and design software tools - Autocad and Hevacomp.
  • Well-developed presentation skills.
  • Strong time management capabilities.
  • Proactive, enthusiastic personality.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • An excellent eye for detail, taking pride in your work.
