We are looking for a Terminal Operator at our cement terminal in Leith. This is a great opportunity for someone with a background in production environments who enjoys practical work, teamwork and maintaining high safety standards. You’ll play a key role in the safe, efficient running of our terminal, helping us deliver quality products to our customers while meeting operational targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operating and monitoring bulk storage and out loading plant and equipment
  • Assisting with the safe and efficient offloading of cement deliveries from vessels (ships)
  • Carrying out daily inspections, routine checks, and basic maintenance
  • Ensuring full compliance with Health & Safety procedures and regulations
  • Completing documentation checks and load inspections before dispatch
  • Collecting and preparing production samples
  • Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and cleanliness across the site
  • Supporting all aspects of terminal and depot operations
  • Helping the team meet production targets and customer expectations

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

  • Experience with Loading Shovel, FLT or similar equipment
  • Experience working with plant machinery
  • Experience working in a production, manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Strong awareness of health and safety standards and ability to follow safety procedures and safe working practices
  • Valid driving license
  • Hands‑on, reliable approach with a strong work ethic
