Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor with project experience in interiors fit-out or refurbishment projects? An established, regional contractor that specialises in interiors projects, who pride themselves on their commitment to their clients and the quality service they offer, are currently experiencing vibrant growth and looking for a Quantity Surveyor. The MD has implemented a strategy to take the company forward to the next level.
This position has only just been signed off on an exclusive basis to New Way recruit. They are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to work within their rapidly expanding commercial team. This company is renowned for delivering high quality interiors contracts for the residential, retail, industrial and commercial property industries. This is an exciting challenge and the ideal candidate would have experience as a Quantity Surveyor.
As a Quantity Surveyor/Estimator you will be responsible for:
- Estimation and measurement of construction works
- Liaising with sub contractors
- Experienced minimum 5 years within an interior and sub contract environment
- Understands JCT Contract terms
- Has worked in a similar role
- Telford based but work is site visits required monthly/weekly
- Will need to be able to deal with multiple labour only contract/payments
- Evaluation of contract documentation
- Setting out bills of quantities
- Settlement of final accounts
- Site monitoring & progression reports
- Ongoing and post contract administration
