They are now looking to recruit a Field Service Technician who will play a key role in delivering high‑quality technical support, installation, and servicing of equipment across a global customer base. Responsibilities
- Servicing and maintaining systems and equipment at customer sites worldwide
- Providing technical support to UK and overseas customers via phone and email
- Performing testing and inspection of equipment
- Conducting fault finding and diagnostics on systems and equipment
- Building electrical and mechanical systems from engineering drawings to production standards
- Installing and commissioning systems and equipment at customer locations worldwide
- Participating in scheduled weekend support as required
Qualifications
- Previous experience in servicing electro‑mechanical equipment, ideally currently in a Field Service Engineer / Field Service Technician type capacity
- Apprentice trained in electrical / mechanical discipline
- 18th Edition certified
- Supporting and servicing OEM equipment
- Using Microsoft packages confidently
- Electrical control diagnostics
- Computer diagnostics
- Robot programming experience
