Electrical Fitter
Location: Telford
Hours: Monday to Thursday, 7:30am-4:30pm | Friday, 6:00am-12:00pm
Pay: Up to £15.00 per hour, depending on experience
Are you an experienced Electrical Fitter or Auto Electrician looking for a hands‑on role working on bespoke vehicle conversion projects?
We’re looking for an Electrical Fitter to join an established production team in Telford, installing and wiring electrical equipment into commercial vehicles to meet customer specifications.
The Role:
- Install and wire 12V electrical systems on commercial vehicles
- Fit beacons, work lights, inverters, batteries and ancillary equipment
- Carry out wiring, soldering and electrical terminations
- Read and work from wiring diagrams and technical drawings
- Support mechanical fitting and assembly where required
- Complete quality checks to ensure builds meet specifications
- Maintain high standards of safety and workmanship
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience with 12V automotive electrical systems
- Confident installing and wiring vehicle accessories
- Experience with soldering, connectors and wiring looms
- Ability to read and follow wiring diagrams
- Competent using hand and power tools
- Mechanical fitting or assembly experience
- Vehicle conversion experience would be advantageous
- Strong attention to detail and a practical approach to problem‑solving
