The Opportunity

We are currently partnering with a well-established and growing organisation within the chemicals and materials sector to recruit a Graduate Technology & Regulatory Scientist. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent or soon-to-be graduate looking to begin a career that combines hands‑on product development with regulatory compliance in a supportive and innovative environment.

The Role

Working as part of a collaborative technical team, you will gain exposure to both R&D and regulatory activities, supporting the development and compliance of chemical products used in industrial applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the design and development of new material and resin‑based formulations
  • Support the optimisation of existing products to improve performance and cost efficiency
  • Prepare and maintain Safety Data Sheets (SDS) in line with current regulations
  • Ensure compliance with relevant chemical and transport legislation
  • Work closely with internal teams including manufacturing, quality, and commercial
  • Provide technical support in response to customer and regulatory enquiries
  • Assess raw materials for regulatory and hazard implications
  • Support product registration and new product introduction processes

About You

  • Degree‑qualified (or graduating in 2026) in Chemistry, Polymer Science, Materials Science, or a related discipline
  • Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail
  • An interest in polymers, coatings, or chemical formulations (desirable)
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively
  • Proactive, adaptable, and eager to learn
