About the Role:
Due to ongoing growth, our well-established client is seeking a skilled Technical Sales Engineer to join their dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive environment with clear career progression paths.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate estimates and quotations within required deadlines.
- Support and collaborate with the sales team to achieve targets.
- Maintain strong communication with customers to understand their needs.
- Occasionally visit sites and customer facilities for enquiries or project discussions.
- Represent the company at industry exhibitions alongside the sales team.
- Participate in relevant training and development activities.
- Utilize CAD drawing and 3D modelling skills where applicable (advantageous but not essential).
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Sales Director.
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience estimating in an engineering or fabrication environment.
- Background in technical sales and customer service.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings to develop accurate quotations.
- Personable, professional, and articulate communicator.
- Solid understanding of sales principles and processes.
- Degree or HNC/HND in an engineering discipline is desirable but not essential.
- Experience with CAD drawing and 3D modelling is a plus.
What We Offer:
- Salary: £30,000 to £32,000 per annum (DOE).
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm.
- Full-time, Permanent position.
