We are partnering with a well-established engineering business seeking a Technical Sales Engineer to support continued growth across both new and existing customers. As the Technical Sales Engineer you will manage incoming enquiries, design and size technical solutions, and convert opportunities into confirmed orders.
Key responsibilities as the Technical Sales Engineer include:
- Technical design and product selection using in-house software
- Interpreting client specifications and developing tailored engineered solutions
- Managing enquiries from initial contact through to quotation
- Providing pre- and post-sales technical support
- Liaising with suppliers both technically and commercially
- Supporting R&D and product improvement initiatives
- Producing and editing AutoCAD drawings
- Assisting with O&M documentation and technical writing
- Managing orders and contracts for specialist products
- Conducting site surveys where required
- Supporting internal sales and contracts teams with technical input
Key skills and experience required as the Technical Sales Engineer:
- Previous technical sales experience within engineering or manufacturing
