Our client based in Manchester City Centre is looking for an experienced Java Technical Lead Engineer to shape and deliver high‑quality, end‑to‑end solutions across their platform. The role acts as the bridge between the Java/Spring backend and Vue.js frontend, taking ownership of feature development from concept through to delivery and ensuring seamless integration across the stack.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and delivery of new features, ensuring performance, scalability and reliability.
- Translate high‑level requirements into clear technical solutions in collaboration with product and engineering teams.
- Maintain architectural consistency and drive best practices across the engineering team.
- Mentor junior engineers and elevate the overall technical capability of the team.
Technical Environment
- Vue.js with modern frontend development, Java and the Spring Boot ecosystem (including Spring Data, Spring Security and Spring MVC).
