Technical Administrator – 12 Month Contract – Bristol

On behalf of our globally respected client who develop cutting‑edge technologies that deliver clean, safe and competitive solutions to meet the planet's vital power needs, we are looking for a Technical Administrator for a 12‑month contract based in Bristol.

What you’ll do:

  • Produce REACH declarations and compliance reports in line with regulatory and internal requirements.
  • Map Bills of Materials (BoM) against existing REACH declarations to validate material compliance.
  • Review existing material and component declarations to identify gaps, inconsistencies, or missing data.
  • Liaise with Engineering, Supply Chain and Compliance teams to resolve REACH and BoM discrepancies.
  • Interpret and work from engineering drawings to understand material composition and technical context.
  • Support ongoing data cleansing and technical administration activities related to REACH compliance.
  • Apply structured, logical analysis when identifying between declared and actual materials.

The skills you’ll need:

  • Degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Materials Science, or a related technical discipline, or relevant hands‑on experience.
  • Experience in a technical administration or engineering support role, ideally early‑career or graduate level.
  • Practical understanding of Bills of Materials (BoM) and material/component data structures.
  • Familiarity with REACH regulations and hazardous substance management.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, particularly when identifying gaps or inconsistencies.
  • Good working knowledge of mechanical design methodologies with awareness of cross‑discipline engineering concepts.
  • High attention to detail with strong data accuracy and documentation skills.
  • Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

We will only accept workers operating via an Umbrella or PAYE engagement model.
