They are involved with projects of every size, across all sectors and deliver imaginative, integrated design solutions from concept to completion. This role is in their Taunton office.
Civil Engineer Role
You will be working closely with the Principal Engineer as well as the Structural Engineering team and be in part responsible for conceptual and detailed design through various RIBA stages and overall project delivery with the support of the surrounding team on an increasing variety of projects across the commercial, residential, education, ministry of justice, and industrial sectors. As you progress, more informed commercial awareness and client relationship management will be important elements to the role. As the civil design team further grows, mentoring and checking the work of fellow engineers and technicians will be key.
Civil Engineer - Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum of a BEng in Civil Engineering and 3+ years UK design consultancy experience.
- Conversance with AutoCAD, Civil3D/PDS, Info/Microdrainage is a requirement, with scope to improve your skills.
- Experience with Section Agreements 278, 38, 104 and 185.
- Hands-on approach, with a desire to remain engaged in design, project management and delivery.
- Good organisation, communication, and presentation skills.
