In this site‑based Project Engineer role in South Wales you will be working on a 400kV substation and take on a vital supervisory position. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee a team of wiremen during the installation of new protection sub‑racks into existing panels. Day‑to‑day activities will involve managing on‑site works, ensuring all tasks adhere to strict safety standards, interpreting schematic and circuit diagrams, and collaborating effectively with Grid SAPs and commissioning engineers to deliver the project successfully.

Employment type
This is a full‑time freelance role for a fixed term of 2 months. The engagement begins with a two‑week paid familiarisation period from around the 20th of July, followed by five weeks of on‑site work from the 3rd of August to the 4th of September.
Qualifications
