The business employs around 250 people, has a very impressive turnover, and continuously evolves legacy products while designing and developing new innovative products to bring to market. In line with the business's expansion plans, the company seeks to appoint an Electronics Design Manager on a permanent basis.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of 10 engineers, comprising Electronics Design Engineers and Embedded Software Engineers.
- Enable the team to deliver projects to a satisfactory standard, on time, and within budget, with support from the Programmes team.
- Provide technical guidance to solve engineering challenges and drive appropriate solutions.
- Focus on NPD/NPI projects while supporting existing products in sustaining activities, obsolescence management, and cost-reduction initiatives.
Essential Requirements
- Experience as an Electronics Design Manager, Electronics Manager, Hardware Manager, Embedded Software Manager, or similar.
- Technical background as an Electronics Engineer, Hardware Engineer, Embedded Software Engineer, Firmware Engineer, or similar.

- Experience within a highly regulated industry.
