Are you an experienced Robot Maintenance Engineer with a strong background in automation and fault finding? We are working with a leading manufacturer who are looking for a Robot Maintenance Engineer on a Permanent basis. The role will see you supporting maintenance and production teams across a range of automated and robotic manufacturing equipment, ensuring maximum uptime and performance across the plant.

Job Description:

  • Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across robotic and automated production equipment.
  • Diagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical and controls faults to minimise downtime and maintain production output.
  • Support fault finding and bug fixing activities across PLCs, robotic systems and automated machinery.
  • Work on vision systems, controls and automation equipment within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Assist with programming and fault diagnosis on PLC‑controlled equipment and robotic cells.
  • Support installation, commissioning and optimisation of new automation and more technically advanced equipment coming into the business.
  • Work closely with production, controls and engineering teams to improve equipment reliability and performance.
  • Provide automation support to the wider maintenance team and assist with continuous improvement activities.
  • Ensure all maintenance work is completed in line with health & safety and company procedures.

Essential Experience / Skills / Qualifications:

  • Well versed carrying out a similar Robot Maintenance Engineer role.
  • Strong fault finding and bug fixing experience within an automated manufacturing environment.
  • PLC bias with strong electrical fault‑finding capability.
  • Experience working with robotic systems and automation equipment.
