Laboratory Technician required for a well-established production plant based in Felixstowe. You will be joining a friendly team who are part of a successful, international group offering job security and a great working culture. This role would suit an experienced Laboratory Technician with hands-on experience in microbiological testing and practical chemistry-based analysis.
You will need experience operating laboratory equipment such as autoclaves, balances, microscopes, etc. The successful candidate will be responsible for analysing raw materials and finished products to ensure they adhere to high quality standards. You will interpret results, troubleshoot any issues, and help implement solutions.
Laboratory Technician Role:- Sample preparation
- Analysis on finished products and raw materials using approved methods
- Reporting any non-conformances
- Use of autoclaves, balances, microscopes
- HPLC
- Hands-on laboratory experience in microbiological testing
- Experience with sample preparation and serial dilution techniques, plating and plate reading
