Are you a Graduate Structural Engineer looking to develop your career within a design-focused consultancy? This is an opportunity to join a well-established structural engineering practice delivering high-quality projects across the residential, commercial, and mixed-use sectors. You will work as part of a collaborative team, contributing to thoughtful and efficient structural solutions from concept through to construction.
Working closely with experienced engineers, you will gain exposure to a wide variety of projects and play an active role in the delivery of structural designs, coordination with project teams, and the successful progression of projects through all design stages.
Responsibilities- Assist engineers with structural analysis and design for building projects.
- Support the preparation of structural calculations, drawings, and technical reports.
- Contribute to the development of design solutions under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Work with architects and other consultants as part of the design team.
- Attend site visits and project meetings where appropriate.
- Assist with reviewing drawings and project information.
- Ensure work is carried out in line with relevant standards and project requirements.
- MEng Civil or Structural Engineering (minimum 2:1), or BEng Civil/Structural Engineering (minimum 2:1) with relevant industry experience such as a placement year.
- Interest in pursuing a career in structural engineering consultancy.
- Basic understanding of structural engineering principles and common construction materials.
- Familiarity with structural analysis or drafting software is beneficial but not essential.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Right to work in the UK (Visa sponsorship not available).
