Position: Structural Engineer
Location: Southeast - South of Exeter
Salary: Up to £48,000

This business specialises in structural inspections, defect diagnosis, building pathology, insurance reporting, and remedial design—with a strong focus on the residential sector and additional exposure to commercial and historic properties. Structural Engineer – Job Overview
- Carry out structural inspections and diagnose building defects
- Produce live digital reports and specify remedial works
- Oversee insurance claim reporting (subsidence, fire, storm damage)
- Work with residential, commercial, and historic buildings
- Liaise with insurers, contractors, and clients to ensure quality delivery
- Report directly to the Associate Director
Structural Engineer – Job Requirements
- Experienced in structural inspections and building defect diagnosis
- MIStructE or MICE (not essential)
- Background in insurance claims and/or historic buildings beneficial
- Confident working independently with excellent communication skills
- Based in the Southeast south of Exeter, with full UK driving licence and access to a car
