The Opportunity
This is a great opportunity to become the first Northwest-based engineer for a growing business, offering genuine long-term progression. As the company continues to expand across the region, there will be future supervisory and management opportunities available for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance
- Perform maintenance and fault-finding on fire and security systems
- Complete general building maintenance tasks when required
- Ensure all works are completed safely and in line with industry regulations
- Provide high standards of customer service on client sites
- Participate in the on‑call rota (1 in 4)
Working Hours
Monday to Friday – 8:00am – 4:30pm
Package
- Salary up to £45,000 (on‑call included)
- Overtime paid at 1.5x
- Call‑out rota: 1 in 4 (minimal call‑outs)
- 21 days holiday + bank holidays
- Standard government pension scheme
Candidate Requirements
Essential Experience
- Experience working within the FM (Facilities Management) industry
- Strong background in electrical maintenance
- Experience maintaining fire and security systems
Desirable Experience
- Experience working on wholesale or large retail sites such as B&Q, Roger Jones, or similar environments
