Responsibilities include developing and delivering complex PCB layouts across a wide range of technologies such as multilayer, rigid flex, RF, and high‑reliability designs. You will collaborate through the full lifecycle, from initial technical requirements to production‑ready layout. Engineers work closely with multidisciplinary teams and PCB suppliers to ensure designs meet electrical, mechanical, thermal, and environmental requirements. You will support emerging technologies, maintain cost, quality and manufacturability targets, contribute to design reviews, support technical decision making and play a key role in knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team.
Qualifications
- British or Dual UK with British citizenship
- Ability to obtain and pass BPSS checks
- Strong background in PCB layout for high reliability or complex electronic systems
- Experience in RF, high speed, analogue, power, SI or EMC domains
- Good understanding of PCB fabrication processes, materials and stack‑ups
- Ability to work with engineering teams and influence design for manufacturability
Salary and Rewards
Circa £55,000 depending on experience, plus company bonus up to £2,500, pension contributions up to 14%, paid overtime opportunity, flexi leave up to 15 days and relocation support where applicable.
